Tradition meets the modern world inside the Old Library, on the ground floor of the Champney Treasure House.

Your celebrations will begin at the private entrance on Champney Road, passing through the opulent lobby before entering the ceremony space inside. The newly renovated Old Library can comfortably seat up to 45 guests. It will feature cutting-edge technology, allowing you to customize your ceremony with a variety of lighting options and immersive audio-visual media.

After the ceremony, capture the moment with photographs in the landscaped public gardens. Explore the paths and rest in the seating areas inside this green space that is open and accessible to all.

To join the waitlist for a ceremony at the Old Library, email your name, preferred contact and date of choice to registration.service@eastriding.gov.uk. We will notify you as soon as booking is available.
